Decrease Stress with Fish Oil

A daily supplement of 400mg each of DHA and EPA fish oils helps stave off stress and increase happiness according to researchers at the University of Pittsburg. People with high levels of these two fatty acids are less impulsive, more agreeable and happier. If you aren’t taking any supplements, these Omega-3 fatty acids are on my top 3 “must-take” list for many reasons that will be in a future post. Any guesses as to what the other two “must take” supplements are?

Fish oil is nasty, full of mercury, and completely unnecessary for Omega3 consumption. Other sources are ground flax seeds, walnuts, canola oil, hemp seeds, broccoli, spinach, perilla, walnuts, pumpkin seeds, tahini, grape oil, tofu, wheat and acai..
